京都祇園祭 Kyoto Gion Festival
（７月１～３１日 京都府京都市）９世紀から続く八坂神社の祭礼。ゆったりとした祇園囃子とともに、美しい織物に飾られた山鉾が町を回る１７日の山鉾巡行がよく知られています。
